09/02/2026: The Next Evolution of Drones & Robotics

Marque is an artist and technology innovator focused on the intersection of drones, robotics, and mixed reality. In 1996 he created Sparky, considered the first interactive telepresence robot, utilizing 2-way live video and wireless technology. Recognized for pioneering the drone sports revolution in 2013, he currently serves as CEO of the Aerial Sports League. His 2016 TEDxHollywood talk on drone racing and brain chemistry helped introduce the technology to a global audience and launch multiple entertainment projects. Marque recently founded the Museum of Future Sports—a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to STEAM education, competitive robotics, and mixed-reality entertainment.

Museum of Future Sports (MoFS), is a CA educational 501c3 organization conceived and launched in 2018 by founders Marque Cornblatt and Douglas Burnet. Recognizing the significant technology literacy gap among Bay Area youth, MoFS was launched to promote the development of future sports, and connect underserved communities with opportunities to experience technology, and inspire and educate the next generation through the power of play.
