Helios Visions collects aerial data for AEC and CRE clients across Chicago, turning drone captures of building envelopes and job sites into 3D models and point clouds. That data pipeline shares real DNA with the immersive tech world; the same photogrammetry and point cloud processing that produces 3D models is a close cousin of the capture techniques feeding VR and XR environments, making drones an increasingly important front door into spatial computing for the built environment.
