Threshold designs places of gathering to learn, share wisdom, and pass along culture. We are a studio of Acoustic and Audio/Video design consultants who help our clients see what they want to hear. We bring our ideas to life with words, sketches, animations, and, at critical points, immersive aural renderings of spaces. These renderings transform design choices into experiences accessible to all, creating a shared understanding for clients and collaborators, even if they don’t speak the technical language of acoustics. Having invested significant time and resources over more than a decade towards maximizing the realism of these renderings in a studio setting, we recognize VR/XR as a new frontier to marry realistic acoustic environments with visual immersion.
